Rebecca comes from Ontario, Canada. Her lifelong love of animals led to her completing her BSc in Zoology (Animal Behaviour, minor Psychology) at the University of Toronto, and her PhD in Animal Science at the University of Guelph. She then continued her training at the Animal Welfare Program of University of British Columbia. She has worked at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom and now works at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada.
