I am a veterinarian from Nepal and currently an MSc candidate in Animal Science at Dalhousie University, with a focus on animal behaviour and welfare. My research investigates boredom-like states in calves using behavioural, physiological, and cognitive measures. The aim is to identify practical indicators for recognizing boredom and to explore whether simple management approaches, such as pasture access, may help reduce it and improve calf welfare.
